Hello and welcome to Messiah Mastiffs! We are members of the MCOA and I am the  President of the Garden State Mastiff Fanciers formally known as the North and East Mastiff Fanciers. Thanks for taking the time to visit our site and enjoy our dogs.  Hopefully this will give you some insight into our philosophy about mastiffs.  We strongly believe in mastiffs being kept as pets and not simply show dogs.  Our dogs are extremely successful in the ring, but they must be pets first.  We don’t allow any of our pups to be kenneled.  Fortunately we do not have to breed our dogs for profit. In fact none of our girls will ever have more than 2 litters in their lifetime. We do not see the need to breed them any more than that and being it is hard on them, we choose not to do so. We do not place our girls once they are no longer showing or breeding. They remain with us and begin their careers as couch potatoes. All of our dogs are fully health tested before breeding.
